Red Carpet Affair

Okay, Mondays post: Red Carpet Affair.

Every closet (in SL and otherwise) should have a basic, yet wonderful black pump. Along with that, a knee-length cocktail gown. A gown with a little sheen or sparkle makes it special. I am a sucker for a fur coat in SL because I can't justify wearing them in RL. I think every woman should own a fur coat in SL. A black clutch is an absolute essential and a perfect example of a splurge item. You really only need one great black clutch your entire adult life. Take care of it, put it away when not in use...and (this is important) buy one that will not go out of style. Even though things are inexpensive in SL, I find that when I go overboard in SL that attitude effects me in my RL. And as a Finance/Investment major in RL, I will have none of that!!

Okay! So, in summation: Black pump, knee-length cocktail gown, a fancy fur coat (in SL only - in RL i'd suggest Wool/Cashmere, Satin or Velvet) , and a timeless clutch. These are items that musts and slurges.

Holiday right around the corner

Being as Christmas/Hanukkah are around the corner, I've decided to stop buying for myself (including Lindens) and to focus on buying for everyone else. So, this coming week's blogs will be highlighting what I think are the finest items I already have in my inventory (which is over 40,000 items now!) My friends all know and consider my inventory to be a black hole, so this should be fun!

Day to Night

Hello all! This outfit really exemplifies what I represent with my style. I like classic items put together in such a way that it becomes unique and interesting.


When I saw Ce Cubic's Suede half coat (I call it my big baggy man shirt) I had to get it and put together a look for it. Everything I'm wearing in this outfit is SO classic and versatile. The big shirt can be worn with jeans, skirts, dresses, even undies *wink wink*! I put the shirt with a little black tube top and a pinstripe pencil skirt. I also totally think that in fall/winter every woman should own at least 80 pairs of black stockings. I absolutely couldn't resist these fantastic black platform heels from AW Design. They are absolutely bananas and everyone should own a pair. So, put together with minimal accessories and this great bag from Barerose's Haute Couture collection, I am ready to go from work to a night out on the town!
